Motor Parameters Setup for VSD
To setup a VSD for a specific motor:
- Make sure that all Motor Parameters has been set (d0-00 up to d0-04)
d0-00: Motor Rated Power
d0-01: Motor Rated Voltage
d0-02: Motor Rated Current
d0-03: Motor Rated Frequency
d0-04: Motor Rated Speed (the correct RPM value is important before doing auto tuning when using Vector Control mode – for other scenarios it will not impact performance)
- Perform Auto tuning if applicable/required.
* For water pumping applications where Dry Run Protection might be required, please also set the Low Current Protection as described HERE.
